Five of our chidren and two staff members will join a Daily Mile walk from the Gates of Stormont, up to Parliament Buildings on Wednesday 9th February 2022. At Parliament Buildings we will be greeted by Policy Makers and we will ask them to support The Daily Mile and Children’s Mental Health. We are keen that, 'The Daily Mile' is embedded in our School Policy and indeed for policy makers to support the Daily Mile throughout the North of Ireland.
We believe that the “Daily Mile” can improve wellbeing and help all children realise their potential as well as embedding their right:
“To survive as a fit healthy person”
“To develop physically, mentally and socially”
“To participate as an active citizen”
