Winter Coat Project
Over the summer, the West Belfast School Uniform Project provided 157 families, approximately 450+ children with items of school uniform for the new school year.
Recognising the ongoing economic uncertainties during this Covid-19 crisis, the school uniform project is holding a ‘Winter Coat’ event later this month. Pre-loved, outgrown winter coats for children, teenagers and adults will be available for one day only at Conway Mill on Wednesday 28th October from 1pm to 5pm.
If you know any families who would benefit from this scheme, can you encourage them to come along on the 28th October to select a coat. Scarves and gloves will be available as well.
To help us with the project, we would be grateful if you would donate any out-grown, pre-loved winter coats to the project. Donations can be brought to school before Thursday 15th October to enable us to sort and quarantine donations. Please note: ONLY coats, scarves and gloves as well as brand new hats will be accepted. Please do not send uniforms or other clothes items.
Thank-you for your support.
